Join, rejoin, renew, suspend or cancel

 

We are pleased to have rolled out our online membership management service for all new and existing ClubActive members.

This online service allows you to manage some aspects of your membership instantly.

You are now able to:

  • Renew your membership;

  • Suspend your membership;

  • Change your direct debit details; and

  • Sign up a family member.

Rejoining

No term members

You can rejoin at any time at Club Active Freyberg or WRAC. 

  • If you are rejoining within 3 months of cancelling, you'll need to complete an online application and confirm the bank account to be direct debited is the same as used previously (or advise updated bank details and supply proof of bank account).

  • If you are rejoining more than 3 months after cancelling, you will effectively have to join as a new member.

Paid upfront contracted term members

If you have a yearly membership, we'll email you a renewal reminder about 7 days before your membership expires and you can renew online.

  • We'll send you a renewal reminder by email in the lead up to your membership expiry date.

  • If you haven't received your renewal reminder, please contact us.

Suspending your membership

From the terms and conditions:

No term:
You can't put your membership on hold, but you can cancel and rejoin at any time without incurring fees.

Contracted term:
You can put your membership on hold as often as you like, for up to 90 days over the year and for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.

You can make changes to your membership online.

Cancelling your membership

From the terms and conditions:

No term:
You can cancel your membership in writing at any time after the first Direct Debit. No cancellation fee applies. Note: You must give us three days notice to stop the upcoming payment.

Contracted term:
Contracted Term members must provide 14 days’ written notice and a completed Cancellation Form. This is required for cancellation and refund of any prepaid membership fees under this clause. Contracted Term members can cancel membership without charge if they move outside a 25km radius of the ClubActive listed as their home club, or for a medical reason which renders the relevant member unable to undertake any exercise regime for a period of three months or more (supported by certification evidence from a qualified medical practitioner, to ClubActive’s reasonable satisfaction). Members cancelling their Contracted Term membership for any other reason must pay a $100 cancellation fee, or the remaining amount of membership fees for the balance of the Contracted Term (whichever is lower.
